Samuel Basallo
Samuel Basallo
C
6'1" / 220 lbs  ·  B/T: L/R  ·  Born: Nov 14, 2004  ·  Signed: 2021 IFA (Dominican Republic)
A contract extension and an MLB debut highlighted Basallo's 2025 season that saw a then 20-year-old catcher hit 23 home runs with a 151 wRC+ in Triple-A. Boasting some of the best power numbers in baseball, Basallo also brings an above-average hit tool to create one of the more enticing profiles in the game. For reference, Basallo is only a few months older than many of the college bats who will be drafted in the first round of the 2026 MLB Draft and here's the full list of prospects given a future value grade of 65 overall or higher by FanGraphs over the last five years: Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, Jackson Holliday, Julio Rodriguez, Bobby Witt, Corbin Carroll, Wyatt Langford, James Wood, Paul Skenes, Jackson Churio, and Roki Sasaki. Pretty impressive company.
2
Dylan Beavers
Dylan Beavers
OF
6'4" / 205 lbs  ·  B/T: L/R  ·  Born: Oct 3, 2001  ·  Draft: 2022 CB-A, Pick 33 (California)
Basallo and Beavers won't be long for this list after making their MLB debuts last year. Beavers' debut was a pleasantly successful one, putting up a 125 wRC+ and hitting four home runs in 35 games. He hit nearly .300 against fastballs in the majors, but opposing pitchers began to adjust and throw more breaking balls and offspeed pitches, which Beavers hit just .045 and .208 against, respectively. Even if he's part of a platoon with Tyler O'Neill in right field, Beavers will be on the strong side of that platoon and should be in the lineup most nights, where better success against non-fastballs will be a game-changer. Both Beavers and Basallo begin 2026 firmly in the conversation as AL Rookie of the Year candidates.
3
Trey Gibson
Trey Gibson
RHP
6'5" / 240 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: May 18, 2002  ·  Signed: 2023 UDFA (Grafton HS, VA)
An undrafted free agent in 2023, Gibson is now primed to be the top-ranked prospect in the Orioles system as soon as Basallo and Beavers graduate shortly. A 6'5", workhorse frame with seven feet of extension as he barrels towards hitters, Gibson has a large arsenal of pitches and has showcased some of the best strikeout stuff in all of minor league baseball over the last two years. His Triple-A struggles came after reaching into a new career-high in innings and there was an immediate identification of how to combat some of the issues he experienced with using the MLB ball for the first time in games. He's already given a potential preview of what 2026 may hold with three scoreless innings in his first spring outing.
4
Ike Irish
Ike Irish
C/OF
6'2" / 225 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Aug 20, 2002  ·  Draft: 2025 Round 1, Pick 17 (Auburn)
The first round pick of the Orioles in last year's draft out of Auburn, Irish was projected to go earlier in the first round, but the board ultimately fell in a very favorable way for the Orioles as they were able to land Irish, last year's Golden Spikes winner Wehiwa Aloy, and Coastal Carolina's Caden Bodine with their first three picks. Irish played a lot of outfield last season after an injury, but he's expected to get significant run behind the plate beginning in High-A this year. One of the more decorated college hitters last year, Irish has a strong hit tool and above-average power, but struggled to lift the ball with regularity both in college and in his small pro sample last year. The bat should quickly carry him through the minors.
5
Wehiwa Aloy
Wehiwa Aloy
SS
6'2" / 195 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Feb 16, 2003  ·  Draft: 2025 Round 1, Pick 22 (Arkansas)
How the Orioles were able to land a premier shortstop with plus athleticism, noted power, and multiple years of high level success in the SEC is beyond me. Questions about the hit tool may have left some teams docking him a bit, but there's strong belief that Aloy's hit tool can progress with better pitch recognition. He's a large, physical presence who has all the tools necessary to stick at shortstop as he develops the power to hit 20+ home runs a season as one of the better shortstop defenders, if all development goes well, of course. That's an uber attractive profile, even if he's a .240 or so hitter.
Top 10 — 6 through 10
6
Luis De Leon
Luis De Leon
LHP
6'1" / 160 lbs  ·  B/T: L/L  ·  Born: Jun 10, 2003  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 11, Pick 339 (Louisville)
Signed for just $30,000 on the final day of the 2021 international signing period, De Leon brings upper-90s heat from the left side with two potential plus offerings in his slider and changeup. Since joining the organization, he's added a splitter that also gets a high grade. Walks and command have been an issue for him, but he's shown noted improvements. After a strong 2025 and dominant AFL campaign, De Leon is considered a top 100 prospect by some and could be a late season bullpen add who brings rare velo from a lefty and the ability to keep the ball on the ground (0 HR allowed last season in 87 IP) before battling for a rotation spot in 2027.
7
Nate George
Nate George
OF
6'0" / 200 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Jun 4, 2006  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 16 (Marist HS, IL)
A 16th round pick out of the Illinois high school ranks, George was a largely unknown cold weather prospect who didn't spend a ton of time on the showcase circuit, but the Orioles found him and gave him a decent bonus to get him away from his college commitment. He reached High-A in his first year of pro ball, putting up a 158 wRC+ with 28 extra-base hits and 50 stolen bases across three levels. He was, however, caught 25 times. George plays with electric passion and aggressiveness that doesn't need to be tempered, but does need to be channeled. He doesn't turn 20 until June, but after what he showed last year, the Orioles wouldn't be crazy to put him as the starting center fielder in Double-A on opening day.
8
Enrique Bradfield Jr.
Enrique Bradfield Jr.
OF
5'11" / 170 lbs  ·  B/T: L/L  ·  Born: Dec 2, 2001  ·  Draft: 2023 Round 1, Pick 16 (Vanderbilt)
Bradfield impacts a game in ways the modern game doesn't appreciate, but it's still impact. The former first round pick out of Vanderbilt has shown very little in-zone swing and miss coming up through the minors, using his top-end speed to turn singles into doubles and drive pitchers crazy when he's on base. His Triple-A struggles last season (in a small sample after multiple IL stints due to hamstring injuries) overshadows his 125 wRC+ in Double-A last season. He still has a good bit to prove with the bat when he gets back to Triple-A this year, but Bradfield's ceiling of an everyday centerfielder in the big leagues who can change a game with his speed and save a game with his glove is still firmly in play.
9
Levi Wells
Levi Wells
RHP
6'2" / 216 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Sep 21, 2001  ·  Draft: 2023 Round 4, Pick 114 (East Tennessee State)
After some early season struggles to begin 2024, along with a six week IL stint due to shoulder inflammation, Wells strung together a strong finish to his first full year of pro ball and ended his second year in Triple-A on the doorsteps of the big leagues. With a unicorn fastball that can hit triple digits and multiple above-average secondaries, Wells could end up clawing his way into the backend of an MLB rotation, but his profile, high octane stuff, and uber competitiveness on the mound may end up leading him into a high-leverage relief role at the next level. Regardless, Wells is primed for a big 2026 that should end in the majors.
10
Esteban Mejia
Esteban Mejia
RHP
6'2" / 175 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Aug 8, 2007  ·  Signed: 2024 IFA (Dominican Republic)
The hype on Mejia was uncontrollable last year after national outlets picked up on the flamethrowing Orioles pitching prospect, and while it's exciting to have a prospect of this caliber in the system, he's an 18-year-old with fringy control up to this point. He'll begin 2026 in Delmarva where the 70 grade fastball and plus slider will be on full display. The question will be if his changeup can emerge as a viable offering and if he can throw more strikes and limit the walks. Regardless, it's fair to say no other pitching prospect in the Orioles system can match his ceiling.
Top 25 — 11 through 25
11
Aron Estrada
Aron Estrada
IF
5'10" / 160 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Mar 14, 2004  ·  Signed: 2021 IFA (Dominican Republic)
Estrada has shown strong bat-to-ball skills since his 183 wRC+ season in the DSL in 2022, but added strength, muscle, and bat speed have brought out more power in his game, resulting in 9 home runs in 2024 and 10 last season. With a near 80% contact rate, the ability to steal bases at a high clip, and growing power, Estrada has emerged as a prospect of note and the national steam has driven the hype up even more. The groundball rates have improved, but are still high, and he doesn't have a firm defensive home, but a lot of eyes will be on the 21-year-old's development in 2026.
12
Nestor German
Nestor German
RHP
6'3" / 225 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Feb 26, 2002  ·  Draft: 2023 Round 11, Pick 331 (Seattle University)
With a five pitch mix, command of all of his offerings, and the ability to generate whiffs at a high clip with each offering, German has risen from an unknown arm out of Seattle to one of the top prospects in the Orioles system and even some faint whispers about a potential top 100 overall ranking. He will begin 2026 in Norfolk's rotation, part of a large group of pitching prospects who have all worked their way into the upper-minors and are facing their Rule 5 offseasons.
13
Boston Bateman
Boston Bateman
LHP
6'8" / 240 lbs  ·  B/T: R/L  ·  Born: Sep 20, 2005  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 2, Pick 52 (Camarillo HS, CA)
Serious question, do the Orioles have the tallest organizational pitching staff in baseball? Bateman, a 6'8" lefty was headed to LSU before getting a $2.5 million signing bonus as a second round pick of the Padres in 2024. The fastball can sit in the mid-90s, but a common observation we've noted since he joined the Orioles at last year's deadline is the lack of fire in his stuff to finish off hitters. However, he was just 19 last year and the Orioles didn't have a full offseason to put their developmental touch on his pitch mix and delivery. It wouldn't be shocking to see him enter 2026 with an expanded mix and likely a longer developmental timeline given his age and potential.
14
Joseph Dzierwa
Joseph Dzierwa
LHP
6'7" / 215 lbs  ·  B/T: L/L  ·  Born: Jun 12, 2002  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 2, Pick 58 (Michigan State)
The 6'7" lefty is the highest drafted pitcher in the Mike Elias era (58th overall) and brings a premier changeup to the organization. He also brings a career 6.7% walk rate in three years of starting experience at Michigan State. The velo has climbed over the last year or so into the 90-92 range (T95 mph), but given his size and frame, it wouldn't be surprising to see him add another tick or two now that he's in a pro organization. The command and changeup are plus aspects of his profile and could likely begin the year in High-A.
15
Juaron Watts-Brown
Juaron Watts-Brown
RHP
6'4" / 210 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Sep 9, 2004  ·  Draft: 2023 Round 3, Pick 87 (Kansas State)
An over-slot, $1 million arm drafted by the Blue Jays in the 3rd round of the 2023 draft, Watts-Brown has logged 227 innings through his first two seasons with 289 strikeouts. He was pitching in Double-A for the Blue Jays when he was traded to Baltimore for Seranthony Dominguez and joined his new team by simply walking across the field as New Hampshire was in Bowie at the time. He's been a whiff machine (17% swinging-strike rate last season) thus far in his career, thanks in large part to his plus slider, but the big question is his fastball and if improvement with that offering can take him from a more-likely reliever to a potential backend starter.
16
JT Quinn
JT Quinn
RHP
6'6" / 215 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Apr 7, 2003  ·  Draft: 2025 CB-B, Pick 69 (Georgia)
While the Orioles drafted Quinn in the Competitive Balance B round in last year's draft (69th overall), he's still a bit of an unknown after injuries limited him at Ole Miss and then not being used extensively at Georgia last year. But the intrigue is high and based in a potential plus fastball from his 6'6" frame. Quinn's value was helped by a dominant Cape Cod League stint just before last year's draft (25 K/2 BB/14 IP). The "reliever risk" tag is already being heavily used when discussing Quinn's future, but the Orioles drafted him where they did with every intention of unleashing him as a starter.
17
Braxton Bragg
Braxton Bragg
RHP
6'2" / 195 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Nov 19, 2002  ·  Draft: 2023 Round 8, Pick 236 (Dallas Baptist)
Bragg exploded up the ranks last year after torching his way through opposing lineups, only to be met with TJ surgery and an abrupt end to his season, one trending towards possible major league time. Now sitting in the 93-95 mph range with a kick-change and command of multiple secondary offerings, Bragg still profiles as a major league starter, but he's going to be faced with limited (if any) time back on the mound in 2026. If his rehab goes well, he could get a few innings before the end of the year and continue to build up in the AFL before being added to the 40-man roster next winter and back in line to make his MLB debut in 2027.
18
Jordan Sanchez
Jordan Sanchez
OF
6'2" / 185 lbs  ·  B/T: L/L  ·  Born: May 14, 2005  ·  Signed: 2023 IFA (Cuba)
The left-handed hitting Cuban outfielder finally made his long awaited full-season debut in 2025, but it was only for four games in the last week of the season. However, a two-homer day left us eager for more. Sanchez put up a 167 wRC+ in the DSL back in 2024 and then a wRC+ of 154 between the FCL/Delmarva last year. He maintained a 15% walk rate in the States while flashing his plus power potential, but the strikeout rate spiked from 20% to 30%. 2026 will paint a better picture of what the hit tool looks like, but the power should shine, even in Delmarva.
19
Thomas Sosa
Thomas Sosa
OF
6'3" / 195 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Jan 10, 2004  ·  Signed: 2021 IFA (Dominican Republic)
We're all still waiting for the true Thomas Sosa breakout, but it's been clear that internally, the Orioles love him and still strongly believe in his ability. Despite missing an extended amount of time last year due to an ankle injury suffered during the opening week of play, Sosa was still promoted to Double-A to close out the year, where he homered in his first game. The raw power is very real and started to translate to game power last season, he has a cannon for an arm in right field, but he still needs to show regular production at the plate. He just turned 21 in January and will get a full campaign in Double-A this year.
20
Cameron Weston
Cameron Weston
RHP
6'2" / 215 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Aug 27, 2000  ·  Draft: 2022 Round 5, Pick 139 (Michigan)
Weston logged 109 innings in 2024, his first full, healthy year in pro ball, and then piled up 135 innings in Triple-A last season, striking out 133 with a league-average ERA. He throws the kitchen sink, plus some, and has lowered his arm slot over the last few years, giving hitters a much different look. Weston ranked in the 82nd percentile in barrel rate allowed and 96th percentile in hard-hit rate allowed, while generating a 44% groundball rate in Triple-A. He remains intriguing as a change-of-pace reliever.
21
Wilfri De La Cruz
Wilfri De La Cruz
SS
6'1" / 175 lbs  ·  B/T: S/R  ·  Born: Nov 24, 2006  ·  Signed: 2025 IFA (Dominican Republic)
A $2.1 million international signee and crown jewel of the Chicago Cubs 2025 class, De La Cruz was traded to the Orioles at last year's deadline for RHP Andrew Kittredge, who returned to the Orioles this offseason. Hell yeah. He walked 27% of the time and posted an .856 OPS in his first DSL season and doesn't turn 19 until the very end of the 2026 season. Given his strong bat-to-ball and how aggressive the Orioles have been recently with their international bats of note, we could see him in Delmarva sooner rather than later.
22
Ethan Anderson
Ethan Anderson
C
6'2" / 205 lbs  ·  B/T: S/R  ·  Born: Jun 22, 2005  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 2, Pick 63 (Virginia)
After showing some of the more well-rounded batted ball data among his draft peers in a limited sample after the 2024 draft, Anderson worked extensively on his defense last season and was still promoted to Double-A to close the year. He is coming off a strong offensive season in the Arizona Fall League where he was among the league leaders in extra-base hits. A switch-hitter who looks to be more impactful from the left side, Anderson's bat-to-ball skills were very impressive in college and could help the bat shine in 2026 as he continues to get more comfortable behind the plate defensively.
23
Stiven Martinez
Stiven Martinez
OF
6'4" / 185 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Aug 25, 2007  ·  Signed: 2024 IFA (Venezuela)
Yet another Yankees-connected international prospect who ultimately signed with the Orioles, Martinez was the youngest player in the entire 2024 international class and was pushed to Delmarva last year at the age of 17. He will get a second run in Low-A and won't turn 18 until August. The numbers in Delmarva were dreadful in his 25 games and strikeouts are always going to be prominent, but the 6'4" RHH possesses some of the best raw power and hard-hit rates in the organization, even while being the age of a high school junior.
24
Anthony Nunez
Anthony Nunez
RHP
6'2" / 225 lbs  ·  B/T: S/R  ·  Born: Jul 10, 2001  ·  Signed: 2024 UDFA (Florida Memorial University)
A former switch-hitting infielder who was drafted and later released by the Padres, re-invented himself at the D2 level and found himself on the mound before ultimately being signed by the Mets as a UDFA in 2024. In his first full season of pro ball as a pitcher, Nunez pitched to a 2.06 ERA with 83 strikeouts, a .121 average against, and .81 WHIP in 56 total innings across three levels. He was added to the Orioles 40-man roster this offseason and could figure into the big league bullpen equation at some point this season. His fastball and cutter are major league quality, but his changeup and slider are the stars of the show.
25
Joshua Liranzo
Joshua Liranzo
3B
6'3" / 195 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Jun 15, 2006  ·  Signed: 2023 IFA (Dominican Republic)
The 6'3", 19-year-old third baseman has shown immense raw power and impressive bat speed, but his early development once he came Stateside was hindered by a lower-body injury. He was pushed up to Delmarva at the age of 18 last season and struggled to catch on, but did flash what makes him an intriguing power-over-hit corner infielder.
26 through 50
26
Creed Willems
Creed Willems
C
5'9" / 210 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: May 27, 1998  ·  Draft: 2021 Round 6, Pick 181 (Walters State CC)
While the bat struggled through the first few years of his career, Willems has dedicated himself to his craft and is coming off a 118 wRC+ season at Double-A during his age 21/22 season. The power has never been in question (50 HR last three seasons), but the significant drop in strikeouts as he's moved up the ladder has been comforting, posting back-to-back seasons of 19-20% K rate after running strikeout rates in the 26-28% range in the lower minors. It's now easier to see a path for Willems to developing into a power-hitting backup catcher in the big leagues.
27
Reed Trimble
Reed Trimble
OF
5'11" / 180 lbs  ·  B/T: S/R  ·  Born: Jun 6, 2000  ·  Draft: 2021 CB-B, Pick 65 (Southern Miss)
After overcoming multiple major injuries, Trimble put together the healthiest season of his career in 2025 (still just 90 games), hitting 17 home runs with an .828 OPS, mainly across AA/AAA, while also adding to his perfect stolen base line — 61/61. He was added to the 40-man roster this offseason, adding a switch-hitting outfielder who plays all three positions and brings speed and pop offensively to the roster with a chance to make an impact in the big leagues in 2026.
28
Tyson Neighbors
Tyson Neighbors
RHP
6'3" / 220 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Sep 8, 2002  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 4, Pick 113 (Kansas State)
The top relief prospect in the 2024 MLB Draft, Neighbors, along with most of his 2024 Padres draft mates, came over to Baltimore at the 2025 trade deadline and immediately showcased his stuff at the Double-A level. With a mid-90s fastball that he can run into the upper-90s with a ton of life, a plus slider, and a plus curveball, if Neighbors can harness his command, he could potentially be a bullpen option late in the year.
29
Jose Luis Acevedo
Jose Luis Acevedo
SS
6'1" / 175 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Nov 12, 2008  ·  Signed: 2026 IFA (Venezuela)
A 6'1/175 pound SS who just turned 17 back in November, Acevedo received the highest signing bonus for an international prospect in franchise history this year. Early scouting reports suggest a fluid shortstop who profiles to stick at the position with a strong arm and real power potential as evidenced by his frame and ability to get to his pull-side power with ease at a young age. Like all teenage prospects, there's a high degree of risk, but the Orioles decided to bring in a very small international class this year, with Acevedo leading the way.
30
Blake Money
Blake Money
RHP
6'7" / 240 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Jan 18, 2001  ·  Draft: 2023 Round 12, Pick 356 (Mercer)
Armed with a five-pitch mix, including a mid-90s fastball, Money logged 121 innings across two levels last season, posting a 3.71 FIP with a 30% K rate and an 8.4% BB rate. 68 of his innings came in Double-A where he closed out the year with a 7 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 10 K, 20 whiff performance on 86 pitches. The 6'7/240 pound righty should begin 2026 in Triple-A. Money's command and ability to live in the zone while producing a high level of success have him in a real position of intrigue entering 2026.
31
Andrew Tess
Andrew Tess
C
6'1" / 195 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Aug 29, 2005  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 12 (Baltimore)
In a system loaded with intriguing catching prospects, Tess regularly gets overlooked. A 12th round pick out of the Florida high school ranks in 2024, Tess put up a 141 wRC+ in the FCL last season before being promoted to Delmarva and putting up a 122 wRC+ in 11 games. An injury from a foul ball ended his season a bit early. With a strong eye at the plate (17.6% BB rate last season), sneaky speed (18 stolen bases), and a good bit of raw power in the bat, Tess's offensive performance as an 18-year-old, first-year pro catcher was eye opening and a fun setup for a potential breakout in 2026.
32
Zach Fruit
Zach Fruit
RHP
6'5" / 215 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Dec 10, 2001  ·  Draft: 2023 Round 9, Pick 271 (Troy University)
A lat injury essentially wiped out his 2025 season. A two-pitch senior-sign out of Troy, Fruit very quickly took to the Orioles pitching development process and developed a full starter's repertoire with an upper-90s fastball and seven feet of extension. As Jon Meoli once noted, Fruit was "working to develop an arsenal like Kyle Bradish's, has a delivery like Jake Arrieta's, and has the backstory of Mason Miller." Moving him to the bullpen in his Rule 5 draft year may unlock a bit more.
33
Jud Fabian
Jud Fabian
OF
6'0" / 195 lbs  ·  B/T: R/L  ·  Born: Sep 27, 2000  ·  Draft: 2022 Round 2, Pick 67 (Florida)
Fabian's strengths are major league caliber, from his center field defense to his strong and accurate outfield arm, to his well above-average exit velos, barrel rates, walk rates, and damage-inducing contact, but making said contact has been the big issue. Fabian ranked in the 1st percentile in in-zone contact rate and 2nd percentile in whiff rate, but a look at his season in smaller segments show passable contact and strikeout numbers before massive, unrecoverable dropoffs after suffering a wrist injury. If he can find that again with better health in 2026, Fabian has a shot of making his MLB debut at some point this season as a fourth outfielder.
34
Chayce McDermott
Chayce McDermott
RHP
6'3" / 197 lbs  ·  B/T: L/R  ·  Born: Aug 22, 1998  ·  Draft: 2021 Round 4, Pick 116 (Sam Houston State)
Calls for moving McDermott into a full-time bullpen role are finally being answered in 2026 and he's off to an eye-opening start in spring training. McDermott has made small tweaks to his delivery and was already sitting 96 mph in December bullpens, saying the velo was coming with much less effort than before thanks to the changes he made this offseason. After a full offseason of changes, preparation to work as a reliever, and focusing on the mental aspect of the game, McDermott appears poised to take advantage of his new role.
35
Vance Honeycutt
Vance Honeycutt
OF
6'3" / 205 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: May 17, 2003  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 1, Pick 22 (North Carolina)
His historically rough contact and whiff rates are well documented, but so are the tools that had some whispering Honeycutt's name as a possible 1.1 candidate going into the 2024 college season. Adjustments at the plate led to a hot week after an IL stint, but Honeycutt quickly regressed and everyone you talk to has different reasons as to why he struggled so much, which adds to the frustration and unknown. Year two will be a defining year with every at-bat being heavily scrutinized.
36
Colin Yeaman
Colin Yeaman
SS
6'1" / 185 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Jun 2, 2002  ·  Draft: 2025 Round 4, Pick 108 (UC-Irvine)
A 4th round pick last year out of UC-Irvine, Yeaman suffered multiple shoulder injuries in the JUCO ranks, received an offer from UCI, and led them to the NCAA Regionals last year with his 13 HR and 1.000+ OPS. He brings a strong hit tool (80% contact rate in college), a hard-hit rate north of 50% last season, and a max EV north of 110 mph. In a class of strong college shortstops, Yeaman has been overlooked from the start.

6'3" / 195 lbs  ·  B/T: L/L  ·  Born: Oct 12, 2001  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 7, Pick 201 (Florida State)
A 7th round pick out of Florida State in 2024, Dorsey worked his way into the FSU weekend rotation as injuries piled up and stepped up in critical moments for the Seminoles. His full-season debut was delayed in 2025 due to an injury, ending with 42 IP and a 58 K/17 BB in Delmarva before showcasing his stuff in the Arizona Fall League. That stuff includes a fastball that sits 93-94 with 17+ inches of IVB and 7 feet of extension, a slider, and a changeup that may be his most intriguing offering.

SS
6'1" / 175 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Dec 13, 2003  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 4, Pick 111 (Oregon)
A trendy pick-to-click going into the 2025 season, Hightower's season was impacted by an injury and then a surprise trade across the country to the Orioles. He's shown an advanced offensive profile in rookie ball, is still just 21, and is coming off a full, healthy offseason that's allowed him time to process his 2025 season and prepare for 2026. He has plus athleticism and good bat-to-ball skills, but much attention will be paid to a potential jump in year two.

6'1" / 185 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Feb 27, 2003  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 12, Pick 360 (NC State)
"Butters" had a strong first full year of pro ball last year, hitting 11 home runs with a 119 wRC+ in High-A with the Padres before being traded to the Orioles at the deadline. He was immediately assigned to Double-A where he posted strong K/BB numbers and was hit with some bad batted ball luck. A major factor in his first year success was a rise in his 90EV from 96 mph to nearly 103 mph, the third-highest jump in all of minor league baseball, giving him solidly average power after showcasing poor raw power in brief 2024 action.

LHP
6'5" / 240 lbs  ·  B/T: L/L  ·  Born: Sep 1, 2001  ·  Draft: 2024 Round 11, Pick 339 (Louisville)
A 6'5" lefty, Gongora sits 93-95 mph and touched 98 mph last season with a curve, changeup, and cutter. After being eased into his first full year of pro ball, Gongora reached 68 innings with a 29% strikeout rate and a 3.36 FIP between A-/A+. There's rotation upside with Gongora and his 2026 development should help paint a fuller picture of what his ceiling could be. He's a potential breakout arm to watch.

RHP
5'11" / 165 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Oct 9, 1999  ·  Draft: 2022 Round 8, Pick 237 (Campbell)
After logging 231 innings between 2023/2024, Pham was limited to 49 innings last year after missing most of the year with forearm inflammation. When he got to Triple-A for 3.2 IP, Pham showcased a 93 mph fastball with more than 20 inches of IVB, a curve, slider, cutter, and changeup. Now 26, Pham will need a big year in Triple-A to earn a shot in the big leagues.

Andri Hidalgo
Andri Hidalgo
LHP
6'4" / 175 lbs  ·  B/T: L/L  ·  Born: Mar 2009  ·  Signed: 2026 IFA (Venezuela)
The highest-ranked pitcher in the entire 2026 international signing class, Hidalgo was the lone pitcher signed by the Orioles in this year's class, getting a signing bonus of $625,000. The 6'4" lefty doesn't turn 17 until March but brings ample experience on the mound, a fastball that has reportedly touched 97 mph already, along with a slider, changeup, and above-average potential control. He's a tall, very young arm who is just now showing his new velo, but his ceiling is a fun one to dream on after the Orioles uncharacteristically spent a big chunk of their bonus pool money on an arm.

Luis Almeyda
IF
6'1" / 175 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Oct 15, 2005  ·  Signed: 2023 IFA (Venezuela)
Almeyda has battled through multiple shoulder injuries, an ankle injury, and regular bumps and bruises since signing for $2.3 million as part of the 2023 international signing class. 2025 was his healthiest season, which still featured just 73 games between the FCL/A-ball. He was a league-average bat but has yet to tap into his power, doesn't have a defensive home, and it's difficult to develop when you aren't on the field. However, he's still 19 and his contact numbers have been positive.

Ariel Roque
Ariel Roque

6'1" / 175 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Signed: 2026 IFA (Dominican Republic)
A 2026 international signing out of the DR, Roque signed for $1.7 million this year. He was the 18th ranked prospect in the entire 2026 class with initial scouting reports giving him 55 hit, 50 power, 55 run, 50 arm, and 55 fielding grades. A well-rounded profile with tools across the board and a projectable frame.

Payton Eeles
IF
5'5" / 165 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Oct 4, 2001  ·  Signed: 2024 UDFA (Coastal Carolina)
A 5'5" former top 30 prospect in the Twins system, Eeles went undrafted out of Coastal Carolina and was in Indy ball to begin 2024 before signing with Minnesota and hitting 19 doubles and 12 home runs with a .932 OPS, along with 41 stolen bases, across three levels. He struggled in Triple-A last year after missing a chunk of time with a knee injury, but has strong bat-to-ball skills, ability to be a disruption on the bases, and can play 2B/3B/OF. He was acquired this offseason for third-string catcher Alex Jackson.

Yasmil Bucce
C
5'10" / 168 lbs  ·  B/T: L/R  ·  Born: Aug 13, 2004  ·  Signed: 2021 IFA (Venezuela)
After spending four years in the DSL/FCL and hitting just .185 in the FCL in 2024, Bucce had a small breakout in 2025, hitting 8 home runs with a 145 wRC+ in Delmarva. His batted ball data is impressive — 107 mph 90th percentile EV with a 14% chase rate — but he will need to start lifting the ball more and controlling the strikeouts as he continues to move up the ladder, as well as notable improvements defensively behind the plate.

Jemone Nuel
Jemone Nuel

5'11" / 170 lbs  ·  B/T: S/R  ·  Born: 2006  ·  Nationality: Jamaica
A 19-year-old switch-hitter out of Jamaica, Nuel repeated the DSL in 2025 and improved statistically across the board, posting a 129 wRC+ with a 22% walk rate and 20% K rate across 53 games. He also stole 45 bases. He will make his Stateside debut in 2026 in the FCL where he will look to continue to showcase his strong swing decisions and, hopefully, some budding power.

6'3" / 200 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Sep 3, 2001  ·  Draft: 2023 Round 5, Pick 142 (Pittsburgh, from Vanderbilt)
Acquired from Pittsburgh for OF Billy Cook, Reilly helped replenish the pitching down on the farm after a few prospect arms were traded away at the 2024 trade deadline. Unfortunately, Reilly logged just three starts in 2025 before undergoing Tommy John surgery. He should return to the mound by the end of the year with his lively, mid-90s fastball and four pitch mix.

RHP
6'3" / 210 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: Aug 15, 2001  ·  Draft: 2023 Round 3, Pick 86 (Washington)
A third-round pick in 2023 out of Washington, Lord began his college career at Division-III Carleton College and eventually worked his way up to the Huskies' starting rotation with a fastball that touched 99 mph. With a four-pitch mix and above-average control, Lord remains an intriguing arm despite logging just 9.2 innings since he was drafted due to Tommy John surgery in 2024.

Lisandro Sanchez
Lisandro Sanchez
OF
6'0" / 175 lbs  ·  B/T: R/R  ·  Born: 2007  ·  Signed: 2025 IFA (Dominican Republic)
Sanchez signed for $300K in 2025 and hit the ground running in the DSL last year. The 18-year-old, 6'0" right-handed hitting outfielder hit .317 with an .862 OPS, a 125 wRC+, and 17 extra-base hits in 49 games. He hit just one home run but posted exit velocities north of 110 mph already. Once he improves his 50% groundball rate, the home run power should begin to shine through. At the same time, he will need to watch the strikeouts, which were at 28% last season.
